At Inner Compass we believe that social agenda and contribution should be an integrated part of any business practice. We believe that having a bigger purpose gets us out of bed excited for the day and full of energy.

Purpose through CONTRIBUTION creates this energy. Self focus contracts energy and focus on others expands energy. By embedding contribution in our business practices, we move contribution as a 'nice to do' into a core expression of who we are as leaders, walking this planet with grace and meaning.

How do we integrate contribution in to our regular business practice?

This year we are committed to providing a $10,000 scholarship for one leader from a not for profit organisation focused on people support on each of our Mastermind programs.

Additionally, we donate $100 for every person that enrols on the Mastermind to our nominated charity. The 2017 nominated charity is Menslink.

At our 2017 UnConference, $100 per ticket went to Menslink.  The silent auction of a place on our Mastermind is also donated to the charity for the year. Last time this sold for $11000.

Why Was Menslink chosen as the 2017 charity?

We believe that the future of humanity needs a focus on men as well as women. The majority of suicide victims are men and boys. Men and boys are struggling to find their way in a changing world. Boys have been left behind with much of the focus on female empowerment. (Of course, we also believe female empowerment is a good thing!).

Boys need a way to explore who they are as men in a this new social environment. They need good models and pathways for re-defining how to be well-adjusted, confident men. Masculinity has been challenged with the surge of feminism, and we need to help our young men find a meaningful and integrated ways of being fierce gentle men.

Not For Profits focus their primary objectives on their program services. In my 30 years of experience working in Not For Profits, staff and team development is not always well-funded, yet NFPs are expected to compete for attention, business, and resourcesalongside their corporate competitors. Offering a scholarship on our high level Leader’s Edge Mastermind is our way of assisting NFP leaders to be world class leaders. Better leaders, better organisations, a bigger difference in the community.
