About Power Games

In this fun, down-to-earth book, leadership expert Zoë Routh introduces the Four Spheres of PowerCrown (Authority), Conch (Influence), Coin (Status), and Cauldron (Courage) a fresh framework for mastering the art of leadership. With relatable examples and engaging fictional narratives, you’ll learn to recognise power dynamics at play, transform toxic patterns, and lead collaborative teams without silos and subterfuge.

Inside you’ll discover:

  • How to spot and manage power games: From subtle manipulation to outright bullying, learn how to recognise issues and steer your team toward trust and collaboration.

  • The shadow archetypes: Avoid the traps of the Tyrant, Bully, Manipulator, Fanatic or Gambler by uncovering your leadership blind spots – and turning them into strengths.

  • Team dynamics made simple: Leverage tools such as the high-performing team bicycle and the organisational structures of circles and triangles to manage power well in collaborative settings. Be a power maker, not a power monger.

  • Ethical leadership in action: The future of leadership is collaborative; build a culture where power serves all. When we share power, we all grow stronger.

Leadership is a privilege, not for privileges.

With Zoë Routh’s approachable wisdom and practical tools, you’ll walk away ready to play the game – and then change the game.

Perfect for CEOs, senior executives and leaders ready to navigate office politics with grace – and shine as beacons for a new era of leadership.
